Books Introduction

After my last book 52 titled All My MAS Books! www.createspace.com/6306051 and the last book on the series Between Us Only! titled Wipe My Tears! www.createspace.com/4304972 – I became very sick and was admitted in Royal Hospital in Oman from November 2015 to January 2016 when I was operated for Prostate Operation – thankfully malign!

I lapsed into a Coma State in ICU – Intensive Care Unit EER – in December 2015 and was there for more than a month!

Unknown to me at the time, there was a Court case placed against me by One International Home Bank against my defunct Consultancy – Management & Marketing Development Consultancy – MMDC – which had collapsed and gone bankrupt in January 2001 – that is 15 years ago – and still being followed and being traumatized to date!

The TRUTH be told also –

SIMPLY NO ONE had contacted me from the Bank or from anyone else! For Plus 12 years!

Today I have LOST MY PERSONAL FREEDOM and Civil Status too – sadly to the Most Committed Loyal True Feeling Sincere Citizen and National. My GMC Yukon they refused to renew The Mulkiya which expired since April 2016.

I am just paying The PDCs and if I do not another issue will arise. This Bank has billions to offer Big Cmpanies but they still go to Retired Omani Pensioners with a vengeance drawing blod from stone! Al Hamdu Lillah!

Oman & The World Please Note!

Nothing has changed much in Oman despite all my writings in my columns and books – the columns that ran for more than 15 years before being targeted and killed off in 2013 – on a technicality – but frankly I think more on their designs policing to subdue people speaking The Truth! The games of The Mafias usually run and led by sadly our Indian friends dominating The Media in Oman – and tragically more by our own Omanis – The Old Guards!

The articles in this book are mainly centred on the above aspects as now being denied the public route through my Oman Daily Observer in my columns Between Us Only! and At My Workplace!

I decided to add this book 53 to my series of books – with due apologies to The Reader that the emphasis and concentration in this book was what was happening to me at the time – and to compile the subjects topics under this book 53 – That Is The way It Is!

Prophet Nabii Daud David RA Sura Sad 22 – 26.

We made his kingdom strong and gave him Al-Hikmah (Prophethood, etc.) and sound judgement in speech and decision.21. And has the news of the litigants reached you? When they climbed over the wall into (his) Mihrab (a praying place or a private room,).22. When they entered in upon Dawud (David), he was terrified of them, they said: “Fear not! (We are) two litigants, one of whom has wronged the other, therefore judge between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, and guide us to the Right Way.23. Verily, this my brother (in religion) has ninety nine ewes, while I have (only) one ewe, and he says: “Hand it over to me, and he overpowered me in speech.”24. [Dawud (David)] said (immediately without listening to the opponent): “He has wronged you in demanding your ewe in addition to his ewes. And, verily, many partners oppress one another, except those who believe and do righteous good deeds, and they are few.” And Dawud (David) guessed that We have tried him and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down prostrate and turned (to Allah) in repentance.25. So We forgave him that, and verily, for him is a near access to Us, and a good place of (final) return (Paradise).26. O Dawud (David)! Verily! We have placed you as a successor on earth, so judge you between men in truth (and justice) and follow not your desire for it will mislead you from the Path of Allah. Verily! Those who wander astray from the Path of Allah (shall) have a severe torment, because they forgot the Day of Reckoning.

When you fail to get your Haqq Rights and Justice on earth surely on The Day of Reckoning in front of Allah SWT God Al Mighty you will get it there where you need it more and where those responsible from Head of Courts Judges Banks Leadership wii be brought forward for Due Punishment – and could start on earh first then punishments in their graves too. About The Book!

This book 53^nd is The Sequel to my earlier 52 books to date!

After my last book, I was admitted in Royal Hospital for a Prostate operation that ended me falling into a coma state in ICU – Intensive Care Unit – EER – for almost a month! See B – The Prophet’s Dream!

People were always asking me – Why don’t you write a book about yourself and all your books as at one stop centre? The story of your life? All about your books! So people can remember you and your works – and as a Memory and Record for all your works to date!

I then decided to accept the challenge and write this book. Like the other books – I have tried to be as factual as possible – and with my usual style of writing of speaking to you directly from my heart – and to be as sincere, genuine, frank, forthright as possible – so that this book can not only be used in Research works – but as a Guide and Beacon for the children, grandchildren, great grandchildren – and future generations by the Grace of Allah God – Ameen Amen.

A long time ago, I had a major operation at Royal Hospital in Oman. Perhaps it was the post operation tantrums – but I was crying profusely and uncontrollably! Then this nice Omani Lady Doctor came over to me and asked me what was the matter – and why I was crying after having a major operation? It was not safe nor good for you Ami (Uncle)!?

I told her it was already 5.30 pm and only half an hour left for visiting time and that morning at 10 a.m. I had this major operation. There was no one at my bedside – all alone! The Filipino Nurse was telling the Indian Nurse – Tell him in English! He is ‘fluent in English’ more! The Indian Nurse was urging me to ‘wake up and open your eyes Uncle’ in Arabic! After the effects of the operation’s anaesthesia!

The Nice Good Lady Doctor – who came later on to meet me again in another medical situation – Diabetic First Time Attack – told me these words – which will stick with me to my dying day to my grave – In Life First is – You Majid! – Second is – You Majid! Third is – You Majid! Only!

The Rest – Your Wife, Children, Family, Relatives and Friends etc. – They can form their own queue after this! Remember This Always! – she actually was crying with me! Incidentally, she was a Married Doctor – with some of you with ‘dirty minds’ – but she was a very caring and feeling doctor – on her rounds to visit me!

Like I always say in my columns and books – and even the recent new book – Speak The Truth Only! – www.createspace.com/5640529 – Family and Relatives – after the Offices Environments with Bosses and Colleagues Peers – are The Worst Places where people take you for granted – and for most trouble making mischief and problems making – even affecting one’s livelihood, commonality and happiness.

A Personal Message To My Readers! ^Reply

Message To My Fans & Readers!

Dear All & After Compliments;

Ramadhan Kareem!

Whenever I go out (which is rarely nowadays!) and in social gatherings – I get the same questions – again and again – as to when my articles in Between Us Only! series in The Oman Daily Observer will resume? Or if I had tried the other newspapers like Times of Oman and Muscat Daily? I have – but did not succeed!

I used to write for Muscat Daily a few years ago with the Column Title At My Workplace! After a series of articles – and as I was under the impression of getting payments? – they said NO to me because they thought ‘I was just volunteering for free’! Nobody gives you lunch nowadays for free – so why with my articles!

Frankly I have tried hard with The Oman Daily Observer – but the new people there (The Old Guards and The Mafias Joint Scheme) are dead set against my articles – started with a ‘technicality’ to reduce my column schedule for only one per week! I had two columns – one Between Us Only! on Sundays and At The Workplace! (Offices Related) on Wednesdays. They started by removing the columns headings – so it showed I was writing two columns under one name! I refused to reduce my columns sequences – because we had a valid written enforceable contract – and two sides must agree to any changes! This was sidelined and marginalized – because no one in his right senses and mind can sue a Governmental Newspaper – and expect any favourite results – or inadvertently consequences and repercussions per se!

See what I am saying is this!

First – The East Africans say – If someone wants to insult you – he does not need to choose his words carefully! Because anything will do (go) – because the sole purpose is ‘just to insult you’! There is also the expression that if you are a guest in a house – the host does not need to tell you to go – and you have exceeded your welcome! Body signs and mannerisms would just do the trick for you to get the signals – that it is time for you to go now!

Also the expression – if someone denies you beans (mbaazi) he only reduces your gas (mishuuzi!) – with due apologies. Forget for now – Utakioona kilicho mtoa khanga manyoya! Now you will see how the turkey lost its feathers! Like most metaphors – it means something much bigger than just literal meaning!

Second – there is nothing that I have not covered in my 13 years duration with the said newspapers! Nothing – simply put! Even taboo subjects that most writers are scared to even border – let alone touch!

Third – All my articles are in my books. You can order them directly if you wish! Even the bookshops returned my books – and one is so notorious (expatriate) to even have called me to say – Come and take your books – they are just occupying space – and NOBODY wants to buy them!

This kind of thing can ONLY happen in Oman – because we are docile people – scared stiff of certain groups of expatriates that have come to dominate, control and rule us – that we bend backwards ‘in order just to look nice and sound pleasant’! – and we all compete for places to sound nice and good to them.

Mind you the majority of the expatriates are good decent nice people – who appreciate and respect the welcome and reception given to them as ‘invited guests’ in our country! But there are a few misguided and supported by some forces internally that think and act otherwise – and these are the people that do most harm and damages – and that includes stopping their few who dare to speak shut up – so we can still control and dominate them for longer still!

Allah God Help and Protect Preserve us all – Ameen Amen!

A good friend (British) once advised cautioned me – if you were in Saddam Team – you would have ended shot – as the first ones too!

Let me rest now. I am now 65 – with different priorities – and the paramount now is my family – my children and grandchildren!

Dear All & After Compliments;

Reference several posts here and at http://www.majidall.com and http://www.majidwrite.com concerning ending of my columns – I was able to create this website http://www.myshorttakes.com – after decline of the ‘requested Short Story’ – No Money For The Crayons for The Weekend Magazine!

As a result, my two weekly columns were killed off!

Frankly, if even the payments were regular, they amounted to OMR 300 Three Hundred a month for 9 to 10 columns a month.

Now with my websites added in, I do not have to suffer the absurd omissions of my columns – and the editing that went with some to unbelievable ridiculous proportions that even the gist of intended meaning and purpose got lost in the process.

True I have lost the monthly stipend – but I now no longer have to suffer the humiliations and marginalization with my new added website at http://www.myshorttakes.com

The Prophet (SAW) warned against envy by comparing it to fire that completely burns the wood. He (SAW) said: “Beware of jealousy, for verily it destroys good deeds the way fire destroys wood.” [Abu Dawood] Hasaad (Jealousy / Envy) is a disease of the heart and it causes impurity to the heart, when Allah’s Messenger (SAW) was asked who are the best of people? He (SAW) replied: “the one with a clean heart and truthful tongue.” They asked: ‘We understand a truthful tongue, but what does a clean heart mean?’ he answered: ‘It is the heart of one that is pious, pure, and is free of sin, transgressions, hatred and Hasad.” [Ibn Majah]

An African President – just after Independence from the colonial masters – was ‘teasing’ his congregation that the local ‘mentality and outlook’ that anything good must be ‘British – English’ and anything bad local!

For example?

A big rooster (chicken) must be an ‘English Chicken’ – thus ‘English orange’ – English mango (!) etc.! But there was no ‘English Cockroach’ – ‘English scorpion’ etc. – these were only local ones!

There is also this issue that some elements – perhaps more because of their backgrounds or perhaps sources support – think that they ‘know everything!’ and that they are better than everyone else and that they have more rights too! These people will never change – until it is too late for them – and everybody else too for that matter!

Sad and Tragic!

I do not know about you but I have recently found that at whichever turn I take now I do meet people that are not good nor sincere people in life that will make promises but not keep – and will purposefully and willfully annoy and upset you with bad hearts and intentions! They are the same people that would easily land you in great distress and troubles if it will suit them – and there are simply no red lines or barriers.

People that are proud and conceited – and even if they know they have done something purposefully wrong to you will Never Apologise – but smirk as you squirm and fidget.

People that will put fingers in your eyes – and expect you to not fidget and remain calm!

People that are moving us into polarization, divisions and splits – and abuse our hospitality, respect and welcome – because they see us divided, polarized, weak and docile!

People that are purposefully and willfully rude, arrogant, mean, vicious and dastardly!

Something gotta give – or break at anytime – like the cinder fire burning heatedly underneath before it surfaces – and explodes in our faces!

People that will judge and criticize you without knowing all the facts and the truth – because it suits them – or just do not care or bother!

It seems it is the in-thing fashionable thing to betray and cause harm and destruction as just being The Norm for many of them!

But the worst kind are those people that can help you in your plight and situation – but choose not to and not to be bothered! Why rock the boat? And what for?

Day by day things are getting worse – and even those people that were once considered nice and helpful are joining the bad and nasty group – with no scruples or conscientious objection.

We simply need to self analyse our selves and in deep conscience before we enter the cesspit of only more decay, decadence and malaise!!

Perhaps it is the age thing or depression setting in – or simply having been beaten many times before one has become sensitive and small things that never upset and annoy you before now do!

Perhaps being diabetic is also a contributory factor!

What do you think? Have you any views to share with the rest of us? Why are people so proud and conceited that only they are important and the rest are not! That they are only ones that are correct, ethical, principled and professional – but the rest are not!

It is not only outsiders but goes now with so-called friends, relatives and even family members too!

People that enjoy seeing others in troubles and distress – or enjoying putting them in troubles and distress.

No one cares or bothers anymore – and Religion has just become ‘a fashion’ – but not to put your soul, heart and mind into it!

And Yes! We do see things Live on Television how small things with bad hearts have turned so bad and led them to great disasters and calamities – but we ado not care nor bother – as if nothing can happen or touch us!

Allah have mercy on us!

Very sad and tragic!

May Allah Have mercy on us and Guide us to the right path and way – Ameen Amen

Does The State have a right to name our own children? ²

Does The State have a right to name our own children?

I would say a definitive, emphatic and affirmative yes – but sense and sensibility need to prevail also! Though I think it is Shakespeare that had said a rose named by any other name would smell just as sweet! Of course with the Cynics adding ‘mind the thorns’!

If I wanted to name my son as Cheetah, Tiger or Lion in East Africa they would look me up in my face and ask me to have my head examined! But yet I have a son named as Fahad (Cheetah) because a great king had the same name!

Recently my son tried to name his newly born daughter as SIBEL – which has meaning of something like rain drops before it hits the ground – and so many other varied meanings – like Oracle, Prophetess etc – but all good and nothing bad in reality! It is also a common name in Turkey after a famous actress! Sebil Kekilli, Sebil Redzip – Muslim Turkish names! In France it carries the connotation as ‘ so beautiful1’.

His application has been turned down flatly and continuously as he goes up undefeated and determined – even though the name is ‘in the acceptable names dictionary list’! Even after formed a committee to study the name! Like in most committees if you make annoyance in the beginning of your application – and especially to the influential person in the committee – who will see that his view reigns supreme!

These kind of ‘red tape and bureaucracy’ still irks and upset people very much – despite all the changes being propagated and in modern tools and apparatuses! Our public officials will not change – it is in-built in them as ‘part and parcel’ of what they really are – and will not change!

For me personally I prefer respect and esteem than building big infrastructures etc – whilst the things in the public offices have simply not changed! But if these things can happen to even the highest public institutions in the country that should lead by real examples more than rather preach and rhetoric – I simply ask the favourite question like in my columns – what else is new?

Child Euthanasia! What is the world now coming to?

Now in our advancement, modernity, being fashionable and in being broad mindedness – we are looking for ‘legal methods and ways’ to kill our terminally sick suffering children! Soon the rest of us will copy and emulate – as in our Hadith – Islamic Teachings – ‘like following that lizard that went into a crevice’!

The sad bitter truth of the world now is people taking over ‘illegally’ and calling themselves legal – and those that were legal being branded as illegal! The Chinese have a saying – If you dig a grave for your enemy, dig two graves – and keep one for yourself! The East Africans also say – Those that dig a well will have to enter into it themselves! All metaphors and sayings that have great sense and meaning!

Belgian politicians have decided that terminally ill children suffering immense pain have the right to die.

It’s all over but the final voting in Belgium as the Parliament agrees across party lines that doctors should be able to euthanize children.

In the wake of several months of testimony from doctors and experts in medical ethics, a Belgian Senate committee will on June 12 examine the possible extension of the country’s euthanasia law to include children.

“On both sides of the linguistic border, liberals and socialists appear to agree on the fact that age should not be regarded as a decisive criteria in the event of a request for euthanasia, ”De Morgen. They want doctors to decide on a minor’s capacity for discernment on a case by case basis.

The Belgian Federal Parliament is reportedly about to expand its controversial “right to die” policies to include access to euthanasia for some gravely ill children.

A consensus among members of the legislative body has reportedly formed in support of legislation to allow children to choose to undergo euthanasia in certain dire cases, according to a report in the Belgian daily newspaper Der Morgen, as translated by the Paris-based news agency

If child euthanasia is legalized in Belgium, the country would become the first in the developed world to have a law on the books allowing the practice, although the Netherlands has since 2005 not prosecuted doctors who perform euthanasia on some minors as long as the doctors act in accordance with a set of medical guidelines dubbed the Groningen Protocol

Belgium became the second country in the world after the Netherlands to legalize euthanasia in 2002, but the statute currently extends only to people 18 or older
